This fall (2014), Smithsonian magazine will celebrate its 3rd annual American Ingenuity Awards, honoring 10 of the most inspired pioneers in America at the forefront of visual arts, performing arts, natural sciences, physical sciences, technology, social progress, historical scholarship, education and youth achievement.
