Black Sabbath will be honored with the Ambassadors of Rock prize at the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clefs Awards next month (July 2014).
The rock band has been added to a list of winners who will attend the ceremony - organized by the charity that provides musical therapy for thousands of people across the UK - at the London Hilton on July 4, 2014 after being recognized for their contribution to the music industry.
Speaking about winning the AEG Live Ambassadors of Rock Award, Ozzy Osbourne, 65, said: ''Winning the Ambassadors of Rock award from Nordoff Robbins is a huge honor. Music is our life, and we couldn't live without it. The world can't survive without music and this is a very special charity that brings music to everyone.."
Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, 70, will also walk away with a trophy under his belt after he's presented with this year's prestigious Silver Clef Award. source
