The Eels Lockdown Hurricane

Eels have always been a frank, open, emotional experience.

Yet new album 'The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett' takes this further than ever before. With Everett delving into his personal life, it matches pained, melancholic lyrics against a pastoral sweep.

'Lockdown Hurricane' is a highlight, featuring one of Everett's most sensitive vocal performances. Now the track has gained a full video (above), shot in the American desert.

Essentially a Bonnie and Clyde style love story, don't go expecting either the video (or indeed the album) to end happily... source
