Florida Georgia Line, the country duo made up of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, are on the cusp of tying a Country Singles chart record that has stood since 1947.
The group's single, Cruise (featuring Nelly), is currently in its twentieth week at number 1 on the Country Singles chart, just one short of the all time record which was set by Eddy Arnold with I'll Hold You in My Heart ('Till I Can Hold You in My Arms). That 21 week record was matched in 1950 by Hank Snow with I'm Movin' On and 1955 by Webb Pierce with In the Jailhouse Now.
