Oh, how times have changed. The Newport Folk Festival has, historically, been an event that mixed the best of the up and coming artists with a lineup of veterans who forged a path for all those who came after. This year's lineup has almost totally dropped the latter for a group of newer musicians both well known and just starting out.
Recent festivals have included the likes of Judy Collins, Jimmy Buffett and Jackson Browne, but none of that age or caliber have been announced so far. MORE HERE
