The song was arranged by Berklee professor Winston Maccow and is performed with a rhythm section, strings, horns, and percussion.

Willie Nelson, Annie Lennox, and Carole King each received Honorary Doctor of Music Degrees during the Berklee College of Music's 2013 commencement on May 11, 2013. There were more than 1,050 graduates from 60 countries and 4,000 guests in attendance.
