Blondie, Talking Heads, Television, Richard Hell & the Voidoids, the Dictators, the Stooges and other bands that played significant roles in the New York rock ‘n’ roll scene of the mid-1970s will appear on CBGB: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Omnivore Recordings will release the collection October 8, 2013.
Besides the CD, Omnivore will release a double LP of the soundtrack, with the first pressing on translucent pink vinyl. Rhino will release a deluxe digital version with an expanded playlist the same day. MORE HERE
