It’s no secret that Ted Nugent is a total asshole, but this might be a new low even for him.
During a talk at a National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis this past Sunday (April 16, 2012), Nugent told the crowd that “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” Charming. Video HERE
But wait! This story has a punchline. See, the Secret Service really frowns on folks making remarks that imply you’re gonna kill the president. Which probably explains why the Secret Service is so interested in Ted. MORE HERE
It gets weirder ...US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney sought the endorsement of Mr. Nugent, recieved said endorsement and is now suffering widespread and immediate backlash. MORE HERE & HERE
