Tony Iommi, iconic guitarist of Black Sabbath, has been diagnosed with the “early stages” of lymphoma, according to a statement issued by the band’s publicist.
The news comes at a pivotal time for Sabbath. Several months ago, the original foursome announced its plans to write and produce their first new studio album in 33 years. They’ve been recording in Los Angeles, but according to Rolling Stone, they’ll move production to England to accommodate the guitarist. MORE HERE
