Elvis Presley would be celebrating his 78th birthday on January 8th, 2013. Some members of Congress have been considering the creation of "Elvis Presley Day" on January 8, commemorating the birthday of the legendary entertainer.

Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and moved to Tennessee at age 13. He is the best-selling solo artist in the history of popular music and one of the most well regarded figures of pop culture, known as the "King of Rock and Roll."
