Young Gold Spree

Given the band's ludicrous size, it's pretty surprising how quiet The Polyphonic Spree has been the past few years. But they've been taking to the road recently, and the stopped by the AV Club's studios in Chicago to take part in their online video covers series, AV Undercover. The Spree chose to cover Neil Young's 1972 hit "Heart Of Gold." Yet the band--uncomfortingly crammed into the tiny studio--turns the ballad into a golden triumph.
