Super Storm Sandy Relief Concert Film
One year ago, Hurricane Sandy slammed the region, causing destruction like no storm before it.
Six weeks later, some of music’s biggest stars held a benefit concert (12-12-12 the Concert for Sandy Relief ) at Madison Square Garden that had the potential — through Web sites, theatrical simulcast and TV — to be seen by more people than had ever witnessed any single concert in history.
Tying the two events together is the new documentary “12-12-12,” opening November 15, 2013
As the millions who watched that December 12, 2012 concert will remember, the night included everyone from Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones and the Who to Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Eddie Vedder.
