Bringing Back The Blades

There are reports that legendary Dublin band The Blades are to reform.

Journalist Ken Sweeney on September 4, 2013 tweeted that the legendary Dublin band, led by Paul Cleary will play "a series of Christmas reunion shows." If the reunion does indeed come to pass, these shows would mark the first time the band have played together since their 1986 split.

Formed in 1977, The Blades released a string of exceptional singles like "Hot For You", "Downmarket" and "Ghost of a Chance". Their sole proper studio album came with 1985's Last Man In Europe, while a singles collection called Raytown Revisited followed later that year. source
