Bassist Trevor Bolder, who played with David Bowie's Spiders From Mars, Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash, died yesterday Tuesday May 21, 2013. He was 62.
Bolder joined Bowie's backing band in 1971, replacing Tony Visconti on bass in time to play on four of Bowie's studio albums, including Hunky Dory in 1971, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars in 1972 and Aladdin Sane in 1973. MORE HERE
