Dave Grohl brought his Sound City Players ensemble to New York City this week for a show before a capacity crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday night (February 13, 2013) as well as the group’s network television debut on Thursday (February 14, 2013).
For Wednesday’s show, Grohl brought together members of the Foo Fighters, Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Fear’s Lee Ving, Alain Johannes, Chris Goss and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine for the marathon performance.
