Costa Clapton Collaboration

Nikkaclapton
Nikka Costa co-wrote a song on Eric Clapton’s newest release called Diamonds Made From Rain, and the album is #1 on the charts in the US! It's one of the few new compositions on 'Clapton' that is the perfect vehicle for EC's emotive, maturing tenor. No wonder he's picked it as the album's first single. Amid a full orchestra, Clapton turns up his guitar and lets loose with a heartfelt solo, one of his best in years; in fact, each note is packed with passion.

The Ballad of Mott the Hoople

The_ballad_of_mott_the_hoople_poster

The BFI London Film Festival crowd-pleaser makes its US debut (at the Chicago International Movies & Music Festival), documenting the celebrated reunion after 35 years of the band most famous for “All the Young Dudes.” Of course there’s more to them than one hit: their story parallels the story of British glam rock, and Ian Hunter remembers every moment of those glory days, with the help of amazing archival footage and interviews with such luminaries as Queen’s Roger Taylor and The Clash’s Mick Jones.
